Drone Light Shows in Windsor

The band at Boardwalk Park plays its last song, the lake goes still, and the sky over Windsor picks up the encore.

This is our home stage. Immersion Drone Theatre is based in Windsor, and every show we fly anywhere in the world starts its journey here.

The local stage

The home stage of Immersion Drone Theatre

Every drone light show we perform, anywhere in the country, is built in Windsor. The choreography is rehearsed in this sky. The fleet is staged and maintained here. The crew lives here, coaches here, and stands in line at the Harvest Festival pancake breakfast like everyone else. So when Windsor itself wants a show, the production has a quality nothing else on our calendar gets: a five-minute commute.

The town gives us more to work with than outsiders would guess. Boardwalk Park is a purpose-built gathering place, bandshell, beach, and boardwalk wrapped around Windsor Lake, and open water is the single best amplifier a drone show has, doubling every formation in the reflection. Eastman Park adds acreage for larger footprints. And the sports corridor rising on the east side is exactly the kind of venue this medium was born to headline.

There is also a case for civic ambition. Towns Windsor’s size almost never see spectacle at this level; it gets routed to Denver and the resort towns. But the Harvest Festival already proves Windsor can turn out a crowd on a holiday weekend. A choreographed sky over the lake, silent enough to leave the neighborhoods in peace and clean enough to leave nothing in the water, would be the kind of night people drive in from three counties to see.

This is the home stage. We would love to light it.

The Invisible Shield

The safety answer, before you ask.

Windsor sits between two airports we know intimately, Northern Colorado Regional to the west and Greeley-Weld County to the east, and our crew coordinates with both as a matter of routine. Every show flies under FAA authorization, inside two independent geofencing layers, with aviation liability insurance in place. We test, stage, and rehearse here, this is the most carefully flown sky in our whole coverage map.

  • 2-Layer Geofencing
  • Turnkey FAA & Fire Marshal Coordination
  • Aviation Liability Insurance

The Overture

Intimate & Unforgettable

The Audience: Dozens to a few hundred, close enough to touch.

Best For: Proposals, weddings, private celebrations, and close-knit corporate gatherings.

The moment before the first light, when everyone goes quiet without being asked. Composed for eyes this close: crisp, precise, personal. Small enough that you will not miss the moment it reaches the person it was made for.

Capture and highlight reel available as an add-on.

The Feature

Cinematic Storytelling

The Audience: Thousands, across a park, a waterfront, a downtown.

Best For: Community festivals, regional celebrations, mid-sized corporate events, and brand activations.

The full performance. A crowd of thousands, moving as one, as a whole story opens overhead and strangers start turning to each other. This is the one that gets talked about all week, in a town that did not expect it.

Capture and highlight reel included.

The Showstopper

Monumental & Unmissable

The Audience: Tens of thousands, plus everyone watching the broadcast.

Best For: Major city holidays, large festivals, marquee product launches, and televised sports.

Engineered for the gasp. Structures big enough to read from miles away and detailed enough to bring every phone up at once, more than one story unfolding overhead, too much for any single person to hold. This is what a place puts in the sky when it wants to be remembered.

Capture and highlight reel included.

The Grand Ovation

Legendary & Worldwide

The Audience: A whole city, and the world on its phones the next morning.

Best For: Landmark anniversaries, stadium-scale events, top-tier global brands, and moments meant to be seen far beyond the people standing there.

Crafted for the legend. The night sky transforms into a living masterpiece as an entire city stops to watch. Felt instantly on the ground, then broadcast across millions of screens worldwide. Years from now, they will still remember exactly where they were standing.

Windsor questions

Asked and answered.

Is Immersion Drone Theatre really based in Windsor?

Yes. Windsor is headquarters, the shop, the staging ground, and the sky where new choreography gets rehearsed before it tours. When you book a Windsor show you are hiring the hometown crew, and the drive to your venue is measured in minutes.

How much does a drone light show cost in Windsor?

Every quote is a custom, all-inclusive proposal driven by drone count and choreography, and a Windsor date carries the shortest logistics line we ever write. If you are weighing a show for a town event, a company night, or a backyard milestone, ask, the conversation is free and local.

Where would a drone show fly in Windsor?

Boardwalk Park over Windsor Lake is the signature stage, with the reflection doing half the show. Eastman Park handles bigger footprints, and the sports corridor stages event nights. For private land east of town, even more is possible. We will walk the site with you, it is a short drive for us.

How far ahead should we book a Windsor show?

A few weeks can be enough here, home-field logistics buy back a lot of calendar, and two months is still the comfortable recommendation. Give it 90 days if the site needs extra airspace coordination, and three to six months for the Fourth of July or New Year's Eve, which book out first everywhere we fly.
