Immersion Drone Theatre is a Northern Colorado company. Fort Collins is not a tour stop for us, it is the home market, twenty minutes from our base in Windsor, and the sky we know best.

Fort Collins is where a drone light show should have been all along. The city already gathers outdoors by habit: on the lawn at City Park every July, along the Poudre on summer evenings, in Old Town under the holiday lights, at Canvas Stadium on fall Saturdays. A drone show does not have to build an audience here. It joins one.
It also has geography most cities would borrow if they could. To the west, Horsetooth Reservoir hangs a show against the foothills and doubles it on the water. In the middle of town, City Park and Sheldon Lake give a community celebration room to breathe. And running through it all is a university with more than a century and a half of tradition to draw from, and a stadium bowl to stage it in.
We know all of this the way you only know a place you live in. Immersion Drone Theatre operates from Windsor, twenty minutes down the road, close enough that a Fort Collins site visit is an afternoon errand and show-night logistics never involve a hotel. We know when the wind comes down the Front Range in the afternoon and when it lies down again after sunset, because we fly in it all year.
Whatever the occasion, a city celebration, a campus milestone, a corporate night, a proposal on the water, the show is choreographed for the people standing under it, in a town we stand in ourselves.

Fort Collins airspace is busier than it looks. Northern Colorado Regional Airport sits just south of town, and CSU brings its own event-day considerations. That is our home airspace: we secure the FAA authorization, coordinate with the airport and local authorities, and arrive with aviation liability insurance in place. Nothing burns, nothing falls to the ground, and your neighbors hear the score, not a series of concussions.

Yes. Fort Collins sits close to Northern Colorado Regional Airport, so most sites in town call for FAA airspace authorization. We handle that entire process, the authorization, the coordination, and the notifications, before show night. It is the airspace our crew calls home.
How much does a drone light show cost in Fort Collins?
Every show is quoted as a custom proposal, sized to your audience and your sky. One advantage of booking in Northern Colorado: we are based in Windsor, so there is no long-haul travel built into a Fort Collins quote. Tell us your event and your budget, and we will bring you the show that fits.
Where can a drone light show be staged in Fort Collins?
More places than most cities this size. City Park and Sheldon Lake, Horsetooth Reservoir, the CSU campus, and the open parks on the city's edges all work, each with a different character. The show needs a ground launch area and a clear sky above it; we scout and confirm the site as part of every proposal.
How far in advance should we book a Fort Collins drone show?
Sooner than most people expect. A Fort Collins show can come together in a few weeks, and about two months is the window we recommend. Sites in restricted airspace, anywhere close to the airport, call for 90 days so the authorization has time to clear. For the major holidays, especially the Fourth of July, three to six months is best, because summer dates book out first. If your date is close, ask before you assume it is too late.
