Breckenridge stages more big public nights per year than any town its size in Colorado, Ullr Fest parades in December, the Snow Sculpture Championships in January, a Fourth of July that packs Main Street, and a festival season that barely pauses in between. All of it happens at 9,600 feet, in a county that takes fire danger seriously, in front of crowds that came specifically to be shown something. It is the perfect drone show town, if the drone show is built for the altitude.
Ours is. Thin air is an engineering input, not an excuse: fleet performance validated for elevation, wind margins tuned for mountain evenings, winterized crew and battery procedures for the December dates that are Breck’s biggest. The airspace coordination is handled with the town and resort, and the whole production arrives self-contained, with our own power on site.

The airspace itself is quieter than the Front Range, but every flight still runs under FAA authorization with town and resort coordination, two independent geofencing layers, and aviation liability insurance. Do drones even fly at Breckenridge's elevation?
Yes, engineered for it. At 9,600 feet the air is roughly a quarter thinner than at sea level, which cuts aircraft efficiency, so we validate fleet performance, shrink wind margins, and design formations for the altitude from the start. It is the difference between a mountain-built show and a sea-level show on a field trip.
Winter is Breck's big season. Can you fly a show in the cold?
Cold is manageable with the right preparation, battery management, staging, and crew procedures are all winterized, and we do not fly in more than moderate snow or in sustained winds of 26 mph or more. Winter nights here are often stunningly calm and clear, which is why Ullr Fest and New Year's Eve are two of the best drone show dates in Colorado.
