Raleigh has something almost no growing city kept: three hundred acres of open lawn a mile from downtown. Dorothea Dix Park is the best natural drone show site in the Carolinas, a field that holds a city-scale crowd, with the skyline composed across it like a backdrop that took a century to build. Most cities have to engineer their sightlines. Raleigh mows them.
The audiences are already in rhythm. The State Fair draws North Carolina’s biggest crowds for ten straight October nights. First Night fills downtown every New Year’s Eve. We arrive as a complete touring production: FAA authorization and RDU coordination handled ahead of the date, two independent geofencing layers around the flight zone, our own power on site, and aviation liability insurance documented for your events office. The choreography is designed from the audience’s vantage point on the lawn, formations sized and placed for how they read from the blanket, not the control screen.
