Drone Light Shows Near Oklahoma City
Scissortail Park fills, the skyline glows behind the stage, and Oklahoma City looks up the way it learned to during a decade of downtown renaissance, expecting something worth the gathering.
Immersion Drone Theatre is a national drone light show company, and Oklahoma is familiar sky, our crew has produced shows here before. We come back to a downtown built for exactly this.

A drone light show for Oklahoma City's new downtown
Oklahoma City spent two decades rebuilding its downtown on a simple bet: give people a reason to gather and they will come. Scissortail Park is that bet paid off, seventy acres of lawn aimed at the skyline, built for exactly the kind of crowd a drone show is designed for. When the park fills for the Fourth of July or a festival night, the stage is already set. We just raise the ceiling.
This is also familiar sky for us. Our crew has produced shows in Oklahoma before, which means Tinker’s airspace coordination, prairie wind planning, and the spring weather conversation are not first-time problems, they are notes in a playbook we have already run. That experience shows up where clients feel it: cleaner timelines, honest weather calls, and a production that arrives knowing the territory.
The calendar gives us plenty to aim at. The State Fair of Oklahoma pulls the whole state to one fairground every September. Thunder season turns downtown electric from fall to, in the good years, deep June. Memorial Marathon weekend gathers the city around remembrance and endurance, a tone drones can honor the way fireworks never could, in light, in silence, and in shapes that mean something.
A city that rebuilt its skyline deserves to see it drawn in the sky above.

Oklahoma City's sky is shared with Will Rogers World Airport and Tinker Air Force Base, so most metro sites call for specific FAA authorization and deconfliction, coordination our crew has already done in Oklahoma. Every flight carries two independent geofence layers and aviation liability insurance, and we plan the prairie weather honestly, scheduled windows, monitored minimums, and a go/no-go discipline that treats spring storm season with the respect Oklahomans give it themselves.

- Turnkey FAA & Fire Marshal Coordination

More from the Oklahoma City sky

Asked and answered.
Have you flown shows in Oklahoma before?
Yes. Our crew has produced drone light shows in Oklahoma, which means the coordination that surprises first-timers here, Tinker's airspace, prairie wind planning, spring weather calls, is work we have already done. Familiar sky makes for smoother productions.
Does Tinker Air Force Base affect a downtown show?
It shapes the paperwork, not the possibility. Between Tinker and Will Rogers, most metro sites sit in controlled or military-adjacent airspace, so we secure specific FAA authorization and deconfliction before locking a date. It rewards early booking and honest lead times.
How much does a drone light show cost in Oklahoma City?
Custom and all-inclusive, sized by drone count and choreography, with touring travel built in. Tell us the occasion and budget, and we will scope it straight, no menu games.
What about Oklahoma weather?
We plan for it like locals. Shows get weather windows, on-site wind monitoring, and pre-agreed go/no-go minimums, and spring dates get backup planning as a rule, not an exception. When the sky says no, we hold, that discipline is the difference between a show and a risk.
